Aoyama Lodge is a fantastic choice for families with children. The location at the end of a private road, with open spaces and surrounded by forest means there is ample safe space around the lodge for the kids to enjoy Niseko’s fantastic natural setting. Inside Aoyama Lodge, the wonderful raised tatami room is the perfect area for the kids to play or just chill out. The smart TV has Netflix, YouTube and Apple TV to keep them entertained if its time to relax.
The Niseko region is a kid’s paradise with so many activities in all through the year. Hirafu Village and Niseko Village have adventure playgrounds with ropes courses, climbing walls and flying foxes, both also offer fun cultural events to watch or participate in such as Taiko drumming or cooking classes. During winter there are many ski schools offering lessons for kids above three years old, and summer has educational adventure camps, trips to the lake and a Matsuri (festival) almost every month.
